This shouldn’t need to be stated, but here goes: Microsoft isn’t a charity.
Microsoft is required by law to make profits for shareholders. This idea that Xbox Game Pass is a “great deal” is naive and short sighted.
Yes, right now Xbox Game Pass IS a good deal. That’s the entire point… This is how you build an audience.
I haven’t written for my website much lately, but this story pretty much writes itself so I might as well jump on the bandwagon… Today, Blizzard decided to punish a Hearthstone player as well as two commentators for the despicable act of supporting democracy. You can’t make this up.
To understand why I’m writing about corruption in eSports and why I’m so passionate about this topic you need to put yourself in my shoes…
I want to address the ridiculous scenario we find ourselves in regarding Destiny 2 and the Blizzard to Steam migration and how you can copy your existing files to save yourself a lot of time.
So, you’ve probably seen the Halo Infinite teaser from the Microsoft E3 2018 conference by now, but if you haven’t, here it is…
After 3 years of Halo 5 we get a teaser trailer for the next Halo game titled Halo Infinite (which will technically be Halo 6).
To say “disappointing” is a bit of an understatement – That’s not to say I have an issue with 343 Industries taking the extra time to make Halo Infinite the best game it can be; my issue is that all we know about the next game is that it will be powered by the ‘Slipspace’ engine when every previous Halo game has been released on a 3 year cycle and we have nothing else to look forward to…
This is my Halo 6 wishlist – In true click bait fashion I’ve chosen 10 features or improvements I’d like to see in Halo 6.
“The League community is soooooo toxic!”
“I don’t play DotA any more. Too much toxicity.”
“OMG, that player said “gay”, he’s so toxic!”
You want to know what’s toxic? Your pathetic inability to harden the fuck up and /ignore someone. THAT is what’s toxic.
Guys… Halo 5 has a shitty online population. I wish match making in Halo 5 was better too, but please, stop requesting party restrictions in match making – It’s not possible. I’m the last guy on Earth that wants to defend 343 Industries, yet time and time again I find myself getting blasted by every member of every Halo community just because I have the audacity to tell them the facts.
Yes, I’d love to have party restrictions in match making. Why would I argue against this? The point isn’t that 343 shouldn’t have party restrictions in match making, the point I’m trying to make is that 343 can’t have party restrictions in match making.
Ever heard the phrase “don’t shoot the messenger”? Well, today I’m the messenger, and here’s the message that 343 doesn’t have the guts to tell you…
A lot of people are already aware the Microsoft Windows Store sucks, but just how much does it suck? Well you’re about to find out. Once again, I find myself absolutely baffled at just how out of touch Microsoft is with the average computer user.
